4/1/2000  More Los Altos area cones...  or, how I waste time when I don't have a car.

I needed to bring my car in to the shop this afternoon. I've been driving around for a few weeks with a nail in my tire. Oddly enough the nail was driven in just right so that it wasn't leaking any air. But I decided to stop tempting fate.

So I brought it to my friendly neighborhood Cone-operated shop.

Here is a cone working on a car.  The guy walking in front must be the cone's assistant.

Here are two more cones working on cars too.

So the cones told me that it would take two hours to repair my car. No problem. From here it's just a quick walk back to my house. Armed with the camera in case I see anything interesting, or uninteresting.
